These days it’s hard to be surprised by anything Kanye West does.

But his actions over the weekend left fans in California scratching their heads and even concerned for the rapper's health.

Following a headline-making week, West canceled his Los Angeles show Sunday night just hours before it was scheduled to begin. Ticketmaster did not give an explanation for the cancellation.

The show was part of the rapper's Saint Pablo Tour that is due to roll in to Fresno on Tuesday, but after a turbulent few days it is unclear whether West will cancel again.

Fans in Sacramento, California were shocked and confused Saturday night after the irascible rapper unleashed a show-stopping rant aimed at supercouple Beyoncé and Jay Z and stormed off-stage.

The 39-year-old rapper reportedly arrived late to his concert and only performed three songs before launching into the tirade, saying he had to tell the audience "the truth even at the risk of my own life."

"I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk, when I talk to y’all like this," West said. “Beyoncé, I was hurt, cause I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won [VMA] Video of the Year over me, over Hotline Bling.”

West went on to accuse the pop icon of playing politics just to win awards, before begging her husband, Jay Z, to call him.

“Jay Z, I know you got killers, please don’t send them at my head. Just call me!” West said. “Talk to me like a man!”

The rant is the second in the latest series of public meltdowns the rapper has had on his latest tour. On Friday, West was booed at a concert in San Jose, Calif. after telling fans that he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump — if he had voted at all.

West also received a mix reaction when he went on to discuss race in America, telling the audience neither candidate was going to be able to address racism in the United States successfully.

"Specifically to black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, okay? Let’s stop being distracted to focus on that as much, it’s just a f---king fact," he said.

West has previously been outspoken about racism in the U.S. and the fashion industry, famously coming under fire for saying "George Bush doesn’t care about black people," during a telethon in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. His comments Friday seemed hypocritical to many on social media.
