At least 10 people were injured when a Megabus collided with a semi truck south of Indianapolis, officials said.

Indiana State Trooper John Perrine told NBC News that the injured — all passengers on the bus — have been taken to local hospitals and that none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Johnson County police said the crash — which also involved two cars — occurred near Edinburgh, Indiana, according to NBC affiliate WTHR. It said the accident caused a four-mile-long traffic backup on Interstate 65 southbound.

Megabus said the vehicle involved was traveling from Chicago to Atlanta and that it is "fully cooperating" with the investigation into the crash.

"Safety is our number one priority," the company said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident. Another Megabus crash in Indiana in October injured more than a dozen people.
