Man Killed Little Girl to Send Message to Her Father: Cops

Raymone Bernard Jackson allegedly shot 2-year-old Kamiya Gross Tuesday before shooting her dad and a 12-year-old friend of the family in Michigan.

A Michigan man who is accused of fatally shooting a 2-year-old in the face and then wounding her father killed the child first because he wanted to torture her dad before shooting him, too, authorities said.

Raymone Bernard Jackson allegedly shot 2-year-old Kamiya Gross at about 8:30 p.m. in Inkster, Michigan, NBC affiliate WDIV reported. Jackson then shot the child’s father, Kenneth French, 34, and a 12-year-old friend of the family, Chelsea Lancaster.

Jackson is charged with premeditated first-degree murder, torture, assault with intent to murder, felonious assault and felon in possession of a firearm, and he is being held without bond, the station reported. Chelsea is in critical condition and French is in stable condition.
