People laid hundreds of roses Thursday night along the middle of Canfield Drive in Ferguson, Missouri, by a memorial where Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson fatally shot unarmed teenager Michael Brown, sparking protests in the community.

In the photo above, Theo Murphy, left, of Florissant, Mo., and his brother Jordan Marshall, 11, light candles on Thursday at the memorial on Canfield Drive. A small group of people, who preferred to remain anonymous, laid the roses along the middle of the road that stretched about 60 yards.
