A New Hampshire teen who vanished for nine months was gagged, kept in a storage container and shocked with a dog-training collar by accused kidnapper Nathaniel Kibby, according to an indictment unsealed Wednesday.
The court papers say Kibby, 34, abducted the 14-year-old on Oct. 9, 2013, to repeatedly sexually assault her.
He used threats against her, her family and her pets and weapons to terrorize her during her captivity, and he used an aquarium pump to give her water while she was "restrained on his bed," the papers say. He allegedly used a taser on her when she tried to give her mother clues to her whereabouts in a letter.
Kibby, who is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, is charged with more than 200 criminal counts.
