Of eleven people shot, one died on the scene, and one died at the hospital, police said. One of the nine surviving gunshot victims was hospitalized and in critical condition, while the other eight suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

One additional person sustained an injury that wasn't related to a gunshot, police said.

About 300 people were in the club when the violence broke out, according to an Orlando Police Department tweet.

At least three shooters were being sought, according to The Associated Press. Investigators were on scene Sunday morning, police said.

No officers fired shots during the commotion, and none were injured, police said.

NBC News called a number listed for Club Glitz, but the person who answered the phone hung up. Subsequent calls went unanswered. At least two other shootings were reported at the club last year, according to NBC affiliate WESH.

On Saturday, one person was killed and seven were injured during a shooting at a strip club about 80 miles west in Tampa. No arrests have been made in that case, the AP reported.
