Emergency 911 service was down Thursday morning across most counties in Washington state.
Phone company CenturyLink said the outage first struck 911 dispatch centers at about 1:30 a.m. in Oregon. That problem was fixed, but part of Washington state is still down, according to NBC affiliate KING5.
An alternate list of county phone numbers for emergency services is available online. CenturyLink hasn’t said when 911 service could be restored or what triggered the outage.
