Police in the Maine town of Oakland say a black and white pig that frightened two children walking through the woods struck fear into another passerby. The unidentified woman Monday was concerned that the 80-pound porker might attack her as she passed through a forested walking trail, according to the Morning Sentinel.
"She was not attacked but was very frightened and came to the station to report it," Capt. Rick Stubbert of the Oakland Police Department told the newspaper. Authorities scoured the walking trail for the sinister swine but found just tracks. "The pig is out there," Stubbert said.
