Police Clear LAX After Phone Threats Turned Up Nothing

Police said they found nothing and traffic diversions were lifted after reports of a suspicious package were made at the Los Angeles International Airport Thursday.

A person made threats by phone and said they were inside the Tom Bradley International Terminal, airport police said.

Traffic was diverted to the lower level of the airport roadway as police investigated, according a tweet from Los Angeles Airport Police.

The search was over around 1:10 p.m., with police tweeting "there were negative results."
