Accused murderer and former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez was in an SUV when two people were fatally shot in 2012 after a night out at a Boston club, police say in search warrant released on Tuesday.

The warrant, first reported by the Hartford Courant, was filed as part of the investigation into the deaths of Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado in Boston's South End.

It provides new details about Hernandez movements on the night of the double homicide.

Hernandez came under scrutiny in connection with those killings after authorities accused him in the shooting death of 27-year-old semipro football player Odin Lloyd, whose body was found June 17, 2013 in an industrial park not far from the former NFL player’s North Attlesborough, Mass., home.

No charges have been filed in the 2 a.m. drive-by shooting in 2012, which took place after the two shooting victims left the Cure Lounge in Boston with three other friends.

The warrant does not say whether there is evidence that Hernandez pulled the trigger, according to the Courant.

It does say that police suspect Hernandez and an associate Alexander Bradley were the men recorded on surveillance cameras inside the nightclub at about 12:30 a.m. on July 16, 2012. Police say Hernandez quickly downed two drinks and he and Bradley left after 10 minutes.

Surveillance footage then showed the men leaving a nearby parking garage in a silver Toyota 4Runner SUV with Hernandez as the driver and Bradley a passenger, police said.

Cameras later caught the victims leaving the club about 2:10 a.m. and Hernandez's SUV passing them twice as they walked to retrieve their car from a parking garage, the warrant said.

Neither Hernandez’s movements inside the club nor the shooting were recorded.

The search warrant was filed in Bristol Superior Court and dated Dec. 11. It sought recordings of phone calls made by Bradley while he was jailed in Hartford in October for failing to appear before a Massachusetts grand jury investigating the 2012 shooting.

Bradley has alleged in a pending lawsuit in Florida that Hernandez shot him in the face after they argued outside a Miami club in February 2013.
