Screech has been gagged.

Actor Dustin Diamond, best known for playing the geeky character on the sitcom "Saved by the Bell," was ordered Monday not to discuss details of his stabbing case with the media. The 37-year-old made a brief court appearance on charges that he knifed a man during a Wisconsin bar fight last week. Wearing a dark suit with a mock turtleneck, Diamond said nothing during the hearing.

Police said Diamond stabbed a man in his armpit during an altercation at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington, then fled with his fiancée in a white sport-utility vehicle. Cops said said they found a bloody folding knife inside his vehicle.

Diamond is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. Although he has already posted $10,000 bail, he is requesting a reduction in the bail amount.
