A Carolina Panthers fan was put in a what appears to be choke hold by a security guard during a game against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas on Thanksgiving Day.

"In the last five minutes of the game, security approached me and told me I would have to leave because a complaint had been filed against me, calling me 'disruptive.' They would not tell me anything specific and said they would not ask me to leave again," Small said in a statement posted to Facebook.

"I politely stood up for myself and before I knew it they were nudging mom out of the way to get to me and at that point, I walked into the aisle and was immediately put into a choke hold. The video shows what happened," he said.

Small said he has asked Arlington police to review the video. Arlington police told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that they are still in the process of completing a report. It is unclear what prompted security to approach Small.

A representative for the Cowboys had no comment Tuesday.
