A young woman hit by a stray bullet during a gun battle on New Orleans’ famed Bourbon Street died Wednesday, officials said,

Brittany Thomas, 21, of Hammond, was pronounced dead three days after she and nine other people were shot when two men opened fire on one another at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the French Quarter, NBC affiliate WDSU reported. Thomas, who was shot in the head, is the only person to have died.

Police are looking for a person of interest in the shooting, who was caught on surveillance tape walking near the scene of the crime. Police initially only found nine victims, but a 10th man went to a police station 12 hours later and reported that he too had been shot.
