The next snowstorm is on the way for the weary Northeast — and it could last four days.
Computer forecast models differ over how much snow could fall, but one puts it at as much as 19 inches for Burlington, Vermont, a foot and a half for Buffalo, New York, a foot for Boston and 5 inches for New York.
The snow should start falling Saturday night and could last into Tuesday. The Weather Channel reports that the snow should fall slowly enough that road crews will be able to keep up with it, mitigating the travel hassle. The snow could be mixed with ice in New York.
Snow is still on the ground from a blizzard that dumped as much as 3 feet of snow on parts of New England last week and a second storm earlier this week.
