Americas Battle for Gold in Pan Am Games

The 2015 Pan Am Games held in Toronto, over the course of 17 days, provide athletes from throughout the Americas a chance to compete in 48 sports.

The 2015 games are taking place in Toronto over the course of 17 days from July 10 to 26. There are over 6,000 athletes from throughout the Americas competing in 48 different sports. Although the Pan Am Games are unique in that they offer some sports that aren't present in the Olympics, some see this competition as an opportunity to prove their worth for next year's Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
