TEL AVIV, Israel — Four policewomen and one civilian were injured in Jerusalem on Friday after a young Palestinian man rammed them with his car in what police called a "terrorist attack," according to Israeli officials. The man left his vehicle carrying a knife after the collision but was shot by a security official and taken to hospital, local police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told NBC News. The victims — four border police officers and one civilian — were hospitalized after suffering "light to moderate" injuries, Rosenfeld added. The incident happened on a main highway near the border of East and West Jerusalem.
