Kyrgyz and Tajikistan horsemen take part in the traditional Central Asian sport of Kok-Boru (goat dragging), a competion held Thursday as part of the inaugural World Nomad Games in Cholpon-Ata, 170 miles from Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek. Kok-boru is a game where players grab a goat carcass from the ground while riding their horses and try to score by placing it in their opponent's goal. Teams from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan participated in the World Nomad Games.
