A Palestinian man walks inside a crater on Thursday made by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. The Israeli military said it carried out airstrikes in Gaza overnight in retaliation for several rockets fired by Gaza militants at Israel. The army said it targeted sites where rockets had been launched and a weapons storage facility.
