LEDs Light Up Sistine Chapel Masterpieces

A new air conditioning and air exchange system were installed along with the new lighting system which illuminates Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' and other artworks in the chapel.

LEDs brilliantly illuminated the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel on Wednesday, shedding new light on the classical masterpieces.

After three years of scientific and technological work, the Vatican Museum installed a new air conditioning and air exchange system as well as the new lighting system with LED technology that brightens Michelangelo's fresco masterpiece 'The Creation of Adam' and other artworks in the chapel.
