Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik has threatened to go on hunger strike until he gets a Playstation 3 video game console, according to a letter received by news agency Agence France Presse on Friday.

The extremist, who killed 77 people in a bomb and gun attack on July 22, 2011, demanded better video games to alleviate the "torture" of his life in prison, according to an AFP report on the letter.

He enclosed a list of 12 demands that he had sent to prison authorities in November, AFP reported. The list included better conditions for his daily walk, and that his PlayStation 2 games console be upgraded to a Playstation 3 "with access to more adult games that I get to choose myself.”

"The hunger strike won't end until the Minister of Justice (Anders) Anundsen and the head of the KDI (the Norwegian Correctional Services) stop treating me worse than an animal," he wrote, according to the AFP.
