Pope Francis has come up with 10 tips for a happier life, and one of them is to turn off the TV during dinner. In the interview with Argentine weekly Viva, the pontiff says staying plugged-in during meals stops families from communicating with each other. The pope also says that parents have to make time to play with their children and enjoy art and culture, according to a Catholic News Service translation of the interview.
The Roman Catholic leader also says people should treat Sundays like family holidays, avoid criticizing others, steer clear of religious proselytizing, and work for peace. His No. 1 rule for bringing joy: "Live and let live."
