Police stepped in after two men were spotted "harassing" Australians eager to catch a glimpse Prince William and his wife Kate on Wednesday.

Britain's royal couple visited communities in the Blue Mountains which were ravaged by deadly wildfires last October. Around 200 properties were destroyed as the wind-whipped inferno swept through the area, which is located about 50 miles west of Sydney.

“Police stopped and spoke to two men, aged 37 and 21, who were allegedly harassing members of the crowd,” the New South Wales Police Force said in a statement. “They were moved on from the area prior to the motorcade coming past.”

The royal couple arrived Down Under earlier this month with their eight-month-old son, Prince George. So far they have paid their respects to New Zealand's fallen soldiers, visited an aviation museum with director Peter Jackson and attended an unveiling of a new portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

They also have met with other parents of young infants during a massive playdate for Prince George.
