NATO leaders were treated to a display of the organization's awesome air power Friday as aircraft from nine nations flew over the Celtic Manor resort in Wales where they have gathered for a summit.

The 22-plane flyby was led by a British Typhoon jet flanked by two Polish Mig-29s, followed by a convoy of fighter planes from the United States, Germany, Canada, France, Denmark, Portugal and the Netherlands. Topping off the show were the British Royal Air Force's Red Arrows aerobatic team trailing their signature tricolor smoke.
