Our long, cold winter followed by a recent bout of warm temperatures is wreaking havoc on mold and pollen counts this spring, making 2014 a particularly tough allergy season.
Today, one in five Americans suffer from some form of allergy, according to the Annual U.S. Prevalence Statistics for Chronic Diseases. But there are a few lifestyle modifications that you can make to help ease the suffering. Experts say little things like leaving shoes and jackets outside, keeping windows closed, and washing hair before bed can make allergy season a bit more bearable, even if you live in Louisville, KY.
