The Candy Crush Saga even has inspired an actual candy line at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York. Yet when Candy Crush officially debuted on the New York Public Stock Exchange earlier this week, investors didnt find Candy Crush as sweet as users do: It left a sour taste on the market with the worst IPO performance of the year.

But for millions of users, the game hasn't lost its allure.
