Tonight on NBC Nightly News, Brian Williams sits down for an exclusive interview with Boston Marathon bombing survivor, Jeff Bauman, at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Massachusetts.
Bauman’s life-threatening injuries became a symbol of struggle and resilience after the bombings, as did the photo of Carlos Arredondo pushing the critically injured Bauman in a wheelchair moments after the explosions.
In his first television interview, Bauman describes that Monday afternoon and the unsettled feeling he had about bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who he says, was standing right next to him.
Friends and co-workers of Bauman decided to sell T-shirts and wristbands to help support him, and created this website, which includes a link to donate via Paypal.
Those wishing to contribute may also mail a check to his foundation
