Reporter’s Notebook: Why Foreign Students Are Turning Away U.S. Colleges

 

NBC’s Ron Allen went America’s heartland to Indiana State University, where administrators say applications from foreign students are down. According to a recent survey, international student applications — from countries such as China, India, and especially from the Middle East — to study in the U.S. are down nearly 40 percent.
