Bill Clinton told NBC News Thursday that he has no response to Donald Trump's references to his past sexual transgressions, saying that he's not interested in "doing anything except trying to help Hillary."
Asked during a campaign stop in Iowa to respond to Trump's charges that he has a record of "abuse" against women, Clinton responded "I don't have a response. If he wins the Republican nomination, we'll have plenty of time to talk about it if Hillary wins."
Pressed on the GOP frontrunner's charges of "hypocrisy" because of his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky and other allegations of sexual misconduct, Clinton added "I have NO interest in getting involved in their politics or doing anything except trying to help Hillary."
The former president is campaigning Thursday on behalf of his wife, with two speeches in Iowa.
Clinton's comments came shortly after Trump's campaign released a video on Instagram linking both Clintons to Lewinsky, disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner and comedian Bill Cosby, who has been accused of sexual assault by more than 50 women.
