The State Department will announce a timetable Tuesday outlining a schedule for the release of more of the 55,000 pages of emails sent and received by Hillary Clinton on her private server.
The agency is under court order to make the scheduled releases public. A federal judge has ordered that the documents be released on a “rolling basis” every 60 days.
Clinton handed the emails over to the State Department last December. A first tranche of about 850 pages of correspondence – dealing with Clinton’s handling of diplomatic relations in Libya and the 2012 Benghazi attacks -- was made public on Friday.
Clinton, who is running for the 2016 Democratic nomination, has said that she wants the messages to be released and disputes the idea that the documents originally handed over to the State Department were selectively vetted by her team.
“I want people to be able to see all of them,” she said of the emails on Friday.
