Brown Launches N.H. Senate Exploratory Committee

Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown has launched an exploratory committee to mull a possible run for Senate in his new home state of New Hampshire.

It's official: Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown has launched an exploratory committee to mull a possible run for Senate in his new home state of New Hampshire.

He made the announcement Friday at Northeast Republican Leadership Conference in Nashua. Just before taking the stage, his camp published a YouTube video kicking off his "Main Streets and Living Rooms Tour."

Brown's speech targeted President Barack Obama and his health care overhaul, predicting that a "big political wave is about to break in America, and the 'Obamacare Democrats' are on the wrong side of that wave."

Headed into a possible match-up, incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has the early edge, according to a Suffolk poll released last week. She tops him by double digits, 52 percent to 39 percent.
