The Democratic National Committee has announced the site visits it will conduct for the cities that have submitted bids to host the 2016 Democratic convention.
- Birmingham, AL - July 21-22
- Cleveland, OH - August 4-5
- Columbus, OH - August 6-7
- New York, NY (Brooklyn) - August 11-12
- Philadelphia, PA - August 13-14
- Phoenix, AZ - September 10-11
The DNC has told NBC News that it won't make its final decision until the end of the year or early 2015.
The Republican National Committee has reduced its convention list to two finalists: Cleveland and Dallas. The RNC hopes to make its selection at the beginning of August.
