Former President George H.W. Bush has been released from the hospital after being admitted last week for difficulty breathing, a spokesman announced Tuesday.
The 41st president is now resting at home following a week-long stay at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Bush, 90, is “grateful to the doctors and nurses for their superb care,” according to a tweet from spokesman Jim McGrath.
