President Barack Obama visited the patriotically named Washington start-up hub 1776 on the day before the Fourth of July. 1776 pairs start-ups dealing with issues like education, energy, health care, and government with assets in the nation’s capital. During his tour, Obama touted a new jobs report that showed unemployment hit a near six-year low and said the incubator was the best place to visit on the eve of Independence Day.
