Guess it is too late to say "sorry."

A Houston man is seeking $75,000 in damages from Justin Bieber, alleging that the Canadian pop singer destroyed his cellphone as he videotaped Bieber unsuccessfully gulping from a beer bong at a club following a concert last month.

Robert Earl Morgan said in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Harris County that Bieber, who played a show in Houston on April 9, scolded him, grabbed the phone and smashed it into pieces.

The game was being recorded via the Snapchat app on Morgan's phone when the young singer noticed and chastised, the lawsuit claims.

According to the suit, Bieber was "clearly a novice" using a funnel-like beer bong and spilled beer all over himself.

Morgan, a sales director for an unidentified company, says he lost photos and important information.

The lawsuit describes the "Sorry" crooner as "a Canadian singer and songwriter who is infamous for his reckless behavior and numerous run-ins with the law."

The incident happened at a Houston nightclub called Cle.

"We had Justin Bieber here after his concert and he was having a great time at Cle and brought his whole staff,” club manager Eddie Massa told NBC affiliate KPRC.

"Justin Bieber was having a good time and that's all we know," Massa said. “I personally didn't see it, no one from our staff saw him break the phone.”

Bieber's manager, Scott "Scooter" Braun, and publicist did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Associated Press and KPRC.
