Sosie Bacon may not be a name you're familiar with, but you'll be seeing her face quite a bit during the Golden Globes on Sunday. That's because the 21-year-old daughter of actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick is this year's Miss Golden Globe.
Each year, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group behind the Globes, selects a child of a celebrity to help out during the show. One of the tasks includes helping to hand out the statues to winners during the ceremony.
"It was really exciting," Bacon said during a chat on TODAY Friday of being given the honor.
But one thing that scares the aspiring actress, who appeared in a few episodes of her mom's show "The Closer"? Taking a spill on stage in front of a national audience.
"I'm terrified (of tripping in my heels)," Bacon revealed. "I think I'm going to do OK, because I kind of have a couple of days to try out the heels and make sure I can stand for so long."
See how the young actress does when the Golden Globes airs at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sunday.
