“Furious 7” took the checkered flag for the fourth weekend in a row, earning $18.3 million, outpacing Blake Lively’s romance "Age of Adaline."

It is the first film to come in first for four consecutive weekends since "The Hunger Games" in March of 2012, and one of only 19 films to have pulled off the feat, Variety.com reported.

“Age of Adaline,” with weekend receipts of $13.4 million, came in third, behind "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2," which, despite pot shots from Seth MacFarlane and critics, scored $15.5 million in its second weekend.

Next weekend, these films likely will be overshadowed by the return of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, when "Avengers: Age of Ultron" debuts and kicks the summer box office off on a high note.
