Thousands of people packed into Brooklyn's Barclays Center for Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards. Thankfully, none of them got in Taylor Swift's way when the camera cut to her. Every. Ten. Seconds.

Swift, who took the stage to accept the best female video award, might as well have stayed up there for most of the night judging by how much screen time MTV wanted to give her.

Yes, she looked especially chic in her body-hugging, dark blue gown with a super plunge-y neckline. No, Kanye West never rushed the stage to tell her he was gonna let her finish.

But when One Direction (and short-lived-love Harry Styles) took the stage, of course the cameras caught Swift mouthing what some read as an expletive to gal pal Selena Gomez.

During Justin Timberlake's epic, multi-song performance (interrupted briefly by a 15-second *NSYNC reunion), the cameras cut over and over to Swift dancing and lip-*NSYNCing.

She was back on stage later in the night to present the best male video award (to Bruno Mars) and Twitter jokesters went nuts, saying she'd dated everyone in the category.
