A young polar bear cub made its first public appearance at the Leningrad Zoo in St. Petersburg on Thursday during a swim with its mother.

27-year-old polar bear Uslada shakes off water in her pool at the Leningrad Zoo in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Thursday. Uslada was joined by her five-month-old cub during its first public appearance, who reluctantly followed for its very first swim before quickly clambering out of the pool.
