“The View” is gathering everyone together to give the show’s co-creator and only remaining original host Barbara Walters a proper farewell. ABC announced on Wednesday that all of “The View’s” co-hosts — past and present — will be returning on the May 15th episode to celebrate the journalist.

The 84-year-old Walters, who announced her retirement last May, will say goodbye on May 16, concluding her 17th season at the table.

“Barbara Walters’ status as a trailblazer, a legend and an icon are undeniable," Paul Lee, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement. “By creating a talk show with multiple hosts, she changed the daytime landscape with a concept that is now widely emulated. It’s a true testament to her legacy.”

Returning to the table will be Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Joy Behar, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O’Donnell. They will be joining current moderators Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world!" former moderator Star Jones tweeted after the news was announced. Jones famously sparred with Walters after the former said she felt like she was "fired" from the talk show.

The network will also honor the journalist with a two-hour special highlighting her career and life on the 16th.
