Astronaut Reid Wiseman posted a mesmerizing Vine video Friday showing a lightning storm raging over Houston — as viewed from space. Wiseman is currently on the International Space Station and frequently shares images and videos to Twitter. The lightning, rather than snapping down to the ground, as we usually perceive it doing when we see it from below, appears to propagate around the cloud in slow motion. Other more rapid flashes of lightning can be seen appearing in the top right of the video.
