The Flying Scotsman steam locomotive, painted in its traditional colors, passes through York, England, on Feb. 23, 2016, for a test run to Scarborough ahead of its inaugural journey from London's Kings Cross to York later this week. After a decade of restoration and over 80 years since it became the first locomotive to reach 100 miles an hour, the engine is scheduled for a program of heritage journeys this year on Britain's main lines.
