Muslims around the world celebrate the holy month of Ramadan by praying during the night and abstaining from eating, drinking, and sexual acts between sunrise and sunset. Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and it is believed that the Quran's first verse was revealed during its last 10 nights.

One of the suspects of London's terror attacks, wearing fake canisters around his waist, lies on the ground after being shot down by police officers on June 3.  

At least seven members of the public were killed and dozens were injured after three attackers plowed a van into pedestrians on London Bridge and later stabbed people at the nearby Borough Market. The three men were shot dead by police.
