Amber Vinson, one of the two Dallas nurses who contracted Ebola while treating a dying patient, is free of the virus and is expected to be released from the hospital Tuesday. Vinson plans to speak at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where she was flown Oct. 15.
She and Nina Pham contracted Ebola while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who flew to the United States and was the first patient diagnosed here. Pham was released from a hospital in Maryland last week.
Vinson flew to Cleveland to plan her wedding after treating Duncan, triggering a scare there after she tested positive.
