FERGUSON, Missouri - While a second night of calm held in the streets of this St. Louis suburb early Friday, about 750 roses lined the street where unarmed teenager Michael Brown was shot dead by police. The flowers were among the tributes at the intersection of Canfield Drive and Caddiefield Road, where Brown was killed on August 9, sparking days of unrest.
Another memorial saw a large wooden cross set up on the grass near the sidewalk while more than two dozen stuffed animals and a collection of now-deflated balloons remained tied to a telephone pole.
