3-Year-Old Learns to Walk on Prosthetic Leg in Gaza

Shareef al-Namla, 3, wounded during the 50 days of conflict between Israel and Hamas last summer, practiced walking on his prosthetic leg at Gaza's Artificial Limbs and Polio Center (ALPC) in Gaza City on Wednesday.

Established in 1974, the ALPC operates with the support of the International Red Cross and provides free prosthetic services to Gazans.
