Malaysia “will not give up hope” in the search for the missing jet search, the country’s acting transport minister said Monday.
Hishamuddin Hussein said a meeting Sunday with the “heartbroken” families of passengers had been the most difficult thing he had ever attended, but that he had vowed not to give up the search.
“I promised the families that Malaysia will not give up hope,” he told a media conference. “This is a promise Malaysia intends to keep. We will continue searching.”
The Malaysia Airlines 777 vanished on March after leaving Kuala Lumpur bound for Beijing.
