PARIS — French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said there was "without a doubt" at least one accomplice to the deadly attacks in Paris and vowed that "the hunt will go on."

"With regard to these terrorist acts — barbaric — the work for justice and the investigation continues," he said in an interview with France's BFM TV. "We think that there were actually probably accomplices."

Valls added that the terror threat level would stay at the highest range.

His comments came as Turkey's foreign minister said that Hayat Boumeddiene, the common-law-wife of the gunman who killed four hostages in a Paris kosher supermarket, had crossed into Syria from Turkey on Jan. 8. Police have described her as an accomplice in the killing of an policewoman in Paris on Thursday.

France also announced that 10,000 security forces were being deployed to protect the population.
