One of the survivors of the massacre at a music venue in Paris has told NBC News of her desperate attempts to escape the carnage-filled building.

Lou Lesko, a 26-year-old who works for a Paris financial regulator, said she was one of the first people to escape onto the street after gunmen stormed the venue on Nov. 13 and started shooting people.

"I started to crawl through people," she said. "I had my heels on that day and I was upset because I didn't want to hurt people, so I tried to take [them] off. ... I could feel the bodies. It really upset me, but I didn't have a choice."
