A Pennsylvania teenager who is in critical condition after he was stabbed by another student Wednesday will undergo another surgery Sunday, hospitals officials said.
Jared Boger, 17, is in critical condition but improving, a spokeswoman for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center said Saturday.
Boger is one of the 21 people injured during a stabbing spree allegedly unleashed by 16-year-old Alex Hribal at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville on Wednesday.
The knife went through Boger's liver, sliced his diaphragm and missed his heart and aorta by a few millimeters.
Three other victims remain in critical condition at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.
