Fresh from his team's Super Bowl blowout on Sunday, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll tweets that the president called to send his regards.

In a statement, the White House said Obama lauded the team's "decisive victory."

"On the call, the President commended Coach Carroll and his team for a great game, and expressed how exciting it has been to watch the team play all season," the White House said. "The President told Coach Carroll that he looks forward to congratulating him and the team at the White House in the coming months."
